Beware of the price of a free dinner. A man of God who had served the LORD for many years did what many Christians do. They listen to someone who says he has a Word from the LORD for them. We should study the Bible to get our “word from the LORD” or know that a prophecy, if given, lines up directly with Scripture. This man of God was told by a another prophet of God something that was a lie. Even though the man of God knew what the LORD told him, he gave into being persuaded by the charisma of a false prophet. Disobeying the Word of God cost the man of God”his life. He was devoured by a lion.
The price of a free dinner can be very deceptive.
