collage of reading BibleWith the restructuring of our lives during the Covid-19 recovery, we at Restoration Of The Family would like to use this opportunity to experiment with something new for our brothers and sisters in the LORD.

2 Timothy 2:15 in a scrollOne of our favorite scriptures is 2 Timothy 2:15. This IS an imperative sentence. Imperative sentences are used to issue a command or instruction, make a request, or offer advice. Basically, they tell people what to do. That is, God is asking us to diligently study the Bible. It is imperative that we do so.

In response to this, we are creating a series of questions to encourage you to open your Bible and search for the answers.

Future editions of these questions will only be sent to you IF you email us and tell us you would like to participate. If we do not hear from you, this will be the only time you will personally receive our teachings in this format.

If you wish to have your name added to the list of Bible study participants, please email us by clicking on THIS LINK and in the subject line typing: Please send study questions.

You are not to submit your answers to us; however, if you aren’t sure of an answer, please email us. The answers are found in the Scripture reference(s) enclosed in parentheses at the end of each question. You are encouraged to read several scriptures surrounding the given verse(s) to consider the context.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES

BibleIt is hoped that you will search for these answers in a hard copy of your Bible. (We use the King James Bible.) One of the several “concerns” of searching for scriptures on your mechanical device is that such a practice can slowly dull your mind as to the order of the books of the Bible. On a broader spectrum, this practice (of replacing your Bible with mechanical devices) can, given time, also blur the difference between which books are in the Old Testament versus which ones are in the New Testament. And, if, perchance, the Internet goes down, what then?

If you do not have a hard copy of the King James Bible and cannot afford to purchase one, email us. We will mail a free Bible to you (Deadline is April 30, 2020 and while our limited supply lasts). This offer is ONLY good for those with U.S. Postal addresses.
