Bible Study: Perfecting Faith
We’re excited to share with you another in our Bible Study Series. The information presented herein will better prepare those who complete this study for the upcoming teaching: “Is It Foolishness or Faith? Part 5: Perfecting Faith.”
We urge you to use a hard copy of the Bible rather than a mechanical device to help you complete the following study. The goal for our Bible Study Lessons is to encourage readers to use their Bibles and to become actively engaged in the learning process. The answers you give are only for your benefit. Please do not email them to us unless you have questions. The answers and study materials are from the King James Bible.

- The SEED is a major theme throughout the Bible. Jesus Christ is that seed through which all believers are blessed. The first mention of SEED is in Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee [Satan/the serpent] and the woman, and between thy seed and her __________; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The seed that bruised Satan’s head was Jesus Christ. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is ________. - Every word in the Bible is vital in God’s eyes, even every jot and tittle. Few understand the deep meaning of Matthew 5:18 from which these words are taken. Most Bible authors change these words and totally remove this important tie-in to the Old Testament Jesus is giving. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one________ or one __________ shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. These two words both refer to the language in which the Old Testament was originally penned: Hebrew. The “jot” represents the smallest letter of the Hebrew alphabet and “tittle” refers to the smallest strokes and curvatures that distinguish different Hebrew alphabetic letters. If you would like more study on this and many other important details preserved in the King James Bible, send for our book: Finding Loopholes in the Bible on Divorce and “Re-marriage” is like … Riding a Bike to Jamaica.
