A serious Biblical error has been discovered by a grandmother. Isaiah 14 records Lucifer’s sad fall away from once being the perfect cherub. Also known as Satan, the Serpent, the great dragon, and the Devil, Lucifer let pride overcome him so much that he tried to exalt himself above God. However, new versions of the Bible have changed the text removing the name Lucifer and replacing it with a name that is used to identify Jesus in the New Testament. The New Testament Scriptures reveal who is the Morning Star and the son of the dawn:
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Revelation 22:16
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:17-19
Would it bother you if someone changed your biography to say that you were evil, corrupt, and a murderer? This is in essence what is being done to our LORD and Saviour with the writings of the authors of the new Bible versions (either directly in the text or in critical footnotes. The record (the Bible) of Who Jesus is is being rewritten with many errors about His character, His deity, His power, and His holiness.
